Night Noodle Markets
Balancing perfectly between customer service and site integrity, Reddawn assisted the Good Food network in their delivery of the Sydney and Melbourne Night Noodle Markets.
What we did
Security Entry Point and Egress Management
As a licensed venue custom built into a greenfields environment, entry and egress management were of high importance. Reddawn provided bag searches and capacity counts that assisted in the crowd control for the event and safety of crowd numbers within the custom built locations for all styles of egress.
Screening of patrons upon their arrival for intoxication or BYO was paramount to ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol was delivered, as part of the entry point process.
Reddawn also supplied an RSA officer to each alcohol vendor onsite and oversaw both the correct sales procedures were enforced (an area of focus at the all ages event) and that no patrons were being served who were approaching intoxication. Due to the nature of the event, customer service in this area was key. As an approach with de-escalation ensured that patrons still enjoyed the event but in a safe manner.
Security & Risk Management Plan
Delivering a holistic approach to precinct sites, Reddawn undertook a Security and Risk management plan. Utilising the risk assessments, we targeted key areas for Reddawn to assist, with site access points (both for vendors and the general public) as well as potential breach points that would compromise the event. We developed standard operating procedures for addressing ambush marketing, ambush vendors, removals from site and other key areas that would impact the event's smooth delivery. All of this could then be presented for review in one succinct document by the Event Promoters, Managers and Stakeholder. Then go on to be used as a tool in the pre-education and training of guards prior to their arrival at site.
